Privacy Policy
BOMBRUN is a single-player game. This policy explains what information the game handles, why, and what choices you have.
1. Summary
- BOMBRUN has no account system. You do not sign up or log in to play.
- Your game progress is saved on your device.
- BOMBRUN shows advertisements through Google AdMob. Google may use an advertising identifier to show ads.
- In-app purchases are handled by Google Play Billing.
- Google Play Games Services is optional. Achievements and leaderboards go to Google. Cloud save is off unless you turn it on.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- BOMBRUN is not directed at children under 13.
2. Information stored on your device
The game saves the following locally in its app storage:
- Your progress: unlocked levels, stars, coins, gems, planes, upgrades, wingmen, achievements, challenges, records and purchases.
- Your settings: sound, music, vibration, analytics choice and cloud-save choice.
- A local crash and error log (unique error messages with file and line number, up to 200 entries). It never leaves your device.
- A local usage log, only if you chose to share analytics (see section 3).
You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or by uninstalling the app.
3. Usage analytics (local log, opt-in)
Analytics is off unless you choose to share it. The first time you open BOMBRUN, it asks once whether you want to share anonymous gameplay statistics (levels played, crashes) to help us balance the game. If you tap SURE, BOMBRUN records gameplay events (for example, level started, level finished, bombs dropped, purchases completed and ad rewards earned) in a local log on your device. Each event includes the game version, platform and the level you were on. The log keeps the last 7 days and is not sent anywhere by the game itself. If you tap NO THANKS, or dismiss the question, nothing is recorded.
You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Analytics. When it is off, nothing is recorded.
4. Third-party services
Google AdMob (advertising)
BOMBRUN uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google may collect and use:
- your advertising identifier (the Android advertising ID), which you can reset or delete in your device settings;
- device and app information, your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- information about ads you view or interact with.
Google uses this information to show ads and to measure and limit them. Google's privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy and Google's ad information page is at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Where required by law, BOMBRUN shows a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time through the Privacy options entry in Settings.
Google Play Billing (purchases)
Purchases are processed by Google Play. BOMBRUN receives a confirmation of each purchase, including the product ID and a purchase token, so it can grant the items. BOMBRUN does not receive your payment card details.
Google Play Games Services (optional)
If you sign in to Google Play Games, BOMBRUN can submit achievements and leaderboard scores to Google, and show your achievements inside Google Play Games. Cloud save is off by default. If you turn it on, your game progress is stored in your Google Play Games saved games so it can be restored on another device. Google's privacy policy applies to that data.
5. What we do not do
- We do not require an account.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to the game, its ads and its purchases.
- We do not read your contacts, photos, messages or files.
- We do not ask for location permission.
6. Children
BOMBRUN is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the game, contact us at tarek@cressu.com and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data sent to Google services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Data stored on your device is protected by Android's app sandbox.
8. Your choices and rights
- Analytics: turn on or off in Settings > Analytics. It is off until you say yes.
- Ads: manage consent with the Privacy options entry in Settings (where shown), and reset your advertising ID in Android settings.
- Cloud save and achievements: turn off cloud save in Settings, or sign out of Google Play Games.
- Deleting data: clear the app's storage or uninstall BOMBRUN. Data held by Google (advertising, purchases, Play Games) is managed through your Google account and Google's tools.
- Requests: email tarek@cressu.com to ask about, correct or delete data we hold. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be announced in the store listing.
